When I walked out of the office I found this......

I remember doing this as a child in the hall way leading to my bedroom. The pencil marks were the same height as me so I couldn't blame it on anyone else although I am sure I tried.
We got it all cleaned up thanks to magic eraser.

I love magic erasers! Sometimes the little ones don't have the diligence to get it all with just soap and water, but this makes the job easier...and they still have to do some work to get the job done!
