Library

So today we ventured out to the library for story time. Luckily for us the library is very close. This was a first for me to go to story time and I really enjoyed it! I think Tyler did too so we will make this a weekly event. Sometimes they do crafts after story time so I thought I would post the stories they read and the craft they did so if you wanted to have a great experience with your little ones you already have an idea.

The three books are listed below with a picture of the craft they did. Hope this gives you ideas and encourages your little ones to want to read more.

Here is a link for a horse template. Just cut the legs off if you want to use the close pins. Draw a face on it and cut some yarn for the mane and tail. Glue them on and color your horse.

Tyler has played and played with his horse since he made it.

Have a great time!

We used to go to the library for story time. It was fun. We were so consistent because we needed to get out. Now we go to the church to workout and Dallin gets his play time in with the other kids. The older they get the less "structure" you need. Sydney and Dallin play really well together now. Dallin helps do laundry on Mondays. Sydney has dance on tuesdays. The rest of the week we wing it. Sometimes Sydney plays with friends. She has homework every day. It gets easier staying home. At first Sydney thought we were supposed to still go to Grandma's every day. Now she's content to stay home and play.

What a cute idea! I love that the books go along with the craft! Look at you... Miss Crafty! I wonder if our library does something like that. I will have to look into it! :)
